Frequently Asked Questions

Weekly Tuition Rates

Our tuition rates vary by classroom and age. Call our office for more information.

Reservation Fee

$30.00 per family (non-refundable). The reservation fee will reserve a spot on the waiting list for when an opening becomes available. This $30 will be applied as registration fee if and when the child is enrolled.

Enrollment Fees

Two weeks’ tuition (first and last week) and a $30 registration fee (waived if previously paid a reservation fee). The last week’s tuition is applied to the child’s last week of enrollment if proper notice is given to the Director.

Family Discount (2 or more)

For families looking to enroll multiple children, a discount of $25 per week will be given.

Payment Due

Payment is due by Monday at 6:00 p.m every week.

Late Payment Fee

$10 if payment is not made prior to Tuesday, $5/day until all payments have been made. In the event of a Holiday, regular tuition payments will be due the following day by 6:00 p.m. Children may not return to LLA on Wednesday if payment is not received on Wednesday of any week. Non-payment will result in removal of your child by Friday of the current week.

Late Pickup

A $15 fee will be charged for the first 1-15 minutes past 6pm. A $30 fee will be charged for 15-30 minutes late pickup. This fee is based on when you leave with your child, not when you walk in the door. You should allow yourself at least 15 minutes to sign your child out and collect their belongings.

Vacation Time

After a family has been enrolled for three consecutive months, LLA allows each child to use two weeks (10 days) vacation per calendar year.  If a child is enrolled after June 30, one week (5 days) will be available that year.If vacation days are used individually rather than a full week at a time, tuition for that week will be prorated.  A week is defined as Monday to Friday.  No vacation days will be granted if there is an outstanding balance on the family account or during the week prior to or during the final week of enrollment.  Unused vacation days do not accrue from one year to the next and there is no compensation given or applied to the parents’ account.

Extended Illness/Hospitalization

If a child is absent for an entire week due to hospitalization, the parent may choose to pay ½ tuition for that week.  This option is available once each year.  A doctor’s letter which includes the date of the hospital stay will be required.  This option must be arranged in advance or called in each morning.  This option is available after a family has been enrolled for three consecutive months.

Holidays

LLA is closed for New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Good Friday, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.  (When the holiday falls on a weekend, it will be observed on the closest weekday.)  These are paid holidays and do not affect tuition. Parents may choose to use vacation on these days.
